Can someone place a bid for me?

No. By Bidding you are entering a legally binding contract.

If you cannot bid on that day of the auction, you may 'pre-bid' on the item. A pre-bid is a specified dollar amount that is initiated before the auction goes live. This allows you to establish a maximum that you're willing to pay for the item. During the actual auction, your name will be displayed as the high bidder as long as your pre-bid remains the highest bid.* Posted closing times and displays of Auction Co.'s current time are approximate.

Why can’t I see my bid?

You can only see the current high bid of an item on the date of the auction after 8am.

How can I reduce or cancel a pre - bid?

Please contact the auction company in the event you placed an auto bid for the incorrect amount. The auction company is unable to remove a bid completely, however your bid may be “frozen” at current level to prevent auto bid from advancing any further. You will be required to verify your account information at the time of request.

How many days do I have upon end of sale to pay and pick up items purchased?

All items purchased on the regular online auctions are to be paid for and picked up within 8 days from the auction date. After this 8 day period if your invoice has not been both paid for and picked up, an automatic storage fee will be added to your invoice.

When it says "SELLS SUBJECT TO BANKRUPTCY COURT APPROVAL OF HIGH BID. PLEASE WAIT FOR APPROVAL PHONE CALL FROM AUCTION COMPANY or SELLS SUBJECT TO CREDIT UNION APPROVAL OF HIGH BID. PLEASE WAIT FOR APPROVAL PHONE CALL FROM AUCTION COMPANY" does this mean the bank will approve the bid?

This means that an items sale is contingent upon receiving the approval of the Bank, Court, Trustee or Lien Holders affiliated with that particular piece. Please call (616) 261-4988 for the Approvals on all items that sell subject and we will be happy to assist you.

Why would a item I have bid on in a previous auction that was sold to another bidder be up for auction again the following week?

Reasons a previously completed item may be offered for sale on again::

1. The item was subject to approval and the sale was not approved by the bank, court or trustee.
2. May be an identical, but different item.
3. If sale was not able to be completed for any reason, and neither buyer or seller removed from auction site within allowable time, the item will be resold by auction company.

Am I able to retract a bid?

No. All bids are considered legal binding contracts and all sales are final. Once a bid is placed it cannot be retracted.

Am I able to change my username/nickname without creating a new account?

The username/nickname is not editable. We would recommend registering a new account and submitting a request to us to close the other account.
